Grasstone units are the reliable favorite of designers, engineers, and landscape architects for creating vegetated surfaces that resists rutting. Grasstone designs make attractive and permanent solutions for emergency vehicle access lanes and temporary or overflow parking areas. Grasstone units may be filled with soil / grass or aggregates, depending on vegetation requirements.
- Occasional light vehicular use
- Made of durable concrete with iron oxide pigments that will not fade with extended UV exposure. Meets or exceeds applicable requirements of ASTM C1319
- Classical paving grid with large openings to support vegetation
- Versatile 3:2 shape easily forms stacked, runner, and herringbone patterns
- Average installed joint size for unit to unit spacing shall be 3 /16” (5mm)
